The dilemma with Teams when they move from Junior to Youth level has meant that unfortuntely I won't be following the U10's to U11's next season. I'm moving upto the U12's to become assistant coach with Mark Broadley & James Thornton. I'll be taking 5 lads from the current U10's who expressed a wish to help the club out & move up a year. I see this as a forward step in terms of Club development and I thank everybody who's agreed to coach / help the U11's/U12's. The players going up will of received a call from myself to confirm there place in the U12's. All others will of course be playing in the U11's.
This is for 1 Season ONLY as all this age group will meet up the following season in the U12's and therefore I'm sure I'll be involved again with you all that season.

The structure for next season will be as follows: -

U11's - Coaches
Carl Ingleby
Sid Dainty
Scott White

U12's - Coaches
Mark Broadley
James Thornton
Wayne Jackson

I know the U11's will be in good hands with Carl, Sid & Scott and I hope you give them the support you showed me this season as there ALL volunteers, and the job isn't easy.

The U10's moving upto the U11's also go into new territory next season, as the game moves on from 7-A Side to 9-A Side.

Same rules apply but with greater numbers & bigger goals (16'x7'). You'll generally see more goals going in due to the size of keeper compared to the size of goal.

I'm looking forward to watching the U11's still next season and I'll be in close contact with Carl, Sid & Scott.

The main objective is to ENJOY IT

Don't expect too much of the kids and let them develop.
